Sheboygan - Dale Gordon Moreau, age 81, of Sheboygan went peacefully home to his Lord Friday, June 8, 2018. His wife Rita, "My Little Chickadee" and his four loving children were by his side after a long battle with health issues.

Dale was born to Felix and Evelyn (Austin) Moreau on October 24, 1936 in Two Rivers, WI. He attended St. Luke's School and Washington High School. After school, he worked as a carpenter for Roger Kimmes, worked construction in Louisiana, was drafted into the Army, moved to Sheboygan where he worked for Great Lakes Homes. He was also employed by the Sheboygan County Highway Department for 32 years, and in retirement, joined Associated Bank for five years as head of maintenance. Dale and Rita Landgraf were married on October 19, 1963 and celebrated 54 years of marriage. They have four beautiful children from their union: Deb (Moreau) Bethke, David (Ann) Moreau, Donna Moreau and Diana Moreau. Dad had nicknames for all his children.

Dale had the opportunity to go on multiple fishing trips to Canada with his buddies. He also enjoyed camping with friends and family at Pine Aire Campground in Eagle River, WI and fulfilled his dream by going to Yellowstone National Park.

Dale is survived by his wife Rita (Landgraf) Moreau; Deb Bethke (nicknamed Hemorrhoid) of Cudahy, WI; David (Ann) Moreau (nicknamed Buckshot) of Sheboygan Falls, WI, Donna Moreau (nicknamed Donut) of Gillette, WY; Diana Moreau (nicknamed Dingy short for Dingbat) of Sheboygan, WI, sister Judy (Harold) Sheahan of Collinsville, IL three granddaughters Sierra Bethke; Briana (Canales) Schirmer; Amanda Moreau; two grandsons Jonathan Bethke and Joshua Moreau along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Felix and Evelyn Moreau, sisters Celia (Joe) Vross, Ruth (Harvey) Peterson and Evelyn (Bernie) Reed and brothers Orland (Agnes) Moreau, John (Rhoda) Moreau, Felix "Junior" (Leona) Moreau and a grandson, Brandon G. Canales.

A viewing of Dale and gathering of family and friends will be held at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 3-6 p.m. Private family entombment service will take place at Garden Terrace Mausoleum in Lutheran Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established in lieu of flowers.
