Lewis "Lewie" Albert Feucht

of rural St. Cloud - Lewis "Lewie" Albert Feucht, age 65, of rural St. Cloud, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Lewie was born February 7, 1953, to the late Joseph & Gladys (Lehman) Feucht. He attended St. Andrew's School in LeRoy and Mayville High School.

Lewie served in the Army from December 11, 1970 until being discharged on December 1, 1972.

On September 1, 1984, he married Shirley Korb at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joe.

In his early years, Lewie worked as a herdsman for the Simon Brothers (Prairie Rock Farms) in Johnsburg. In 1985 he and his wife purchased the former A & B Tavern in St. Joe which became Countryside Bar which they ran for 28 years. In addition, Lewie worked at Kohler Co. until he retired from there in 2015.

Lewie was a member of the St. Cloud American Legion Harvey Blonigen Post 478, the Riverside Hunting & Fishing Club, and many other local fishing clubs. He loved hunting and fishing, especially sturgeon spearing, and spending time up North at his cabin in Mellen. His greatest joy was time spent with his children, grandchildren, other family members and many friends and last but not least, his four legged companion, Josie.

He was a die-hard Packers and Brewers fan.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley; his children, Jessica Feucht of Georgia, Chad (Holly) Feucht of rural Chilton, and Bert (Stephanie) Feucht of Lena; his grandchildren, Hannah (Michael) Cooper, Chad Feucht Jr., Nicholas Feucht, Carter, Nolan, & Macy Feucht, and step-grandchildren, Jeremy & Jayde Lisowe, his great-grandchildren, Briar & Bear; his brothers, Alan (Janet) Feucht of Waupun, Daniel (Jean) Feucht of Lomira, and Gerard (Candace) Feucht of LeRoy; his sisters, Janet (Richard) Weiglein of Lomira and Claudia Parsons Stern of Clintonville, Marie (Robert) Wondra of Lomira, Terese "Tess" (Ron) Hurley of Oak Lane, IL, and Chris (Ken) Norskog of West Bend; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gerri Feucht of Beaver Dam, Glenn Haddy of Theresa, Pat (Jerry) Pethan of Chilton, Paul (Cindy) Korb of Menasha, Kris (Paul) Halbach of St. Cloud. He is further survived by many nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends.

Preceding him in death were an infant son, Jonny Joseph; his parents, Joseph & Gladys Feucht; his brothers, Joseph Feucht, Charles Feucht, and Thomas "Snuffy" Feucht; his sister, Carol Haddy; his brothers-in-law, Roger Parsons and Bill Stern; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Willie & Angeline Korb; and a nephew, Jesse Pethan.

A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 13, 2018, at St. Isidore Parish-Holy Cross Church, 308 S. County Road W, Mount Calvary, WI 53057. Rev. Oliver Bambenek, OFM Cap will officiate. Military Rites conducted by the St. Cloud American Legion and State Military Honors will take place at the church following the Mass.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with the family at the church in Mount Calvary on Sunday, August 12th from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Visitation will also take place again at the church Monday morning from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in his name.
