Nancy Rabe Obituary
Nancy L. Rabe, age 68, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning (October 25, 2016) at Theda Care Medical Center in Appleton, following a courageous battle with cancer for the last 3 years.
She was born in Sheboygan on April 14, 1948, daughter of the late Lester and Anna (Pfeiffer) Rabe.
Nancy attended Elkhart Lake Grade School and graduated from Elkhart Lake High School in 1967.
She worked in the offices at Verifine Foods in Sheboygan, Johnsonville Meats, and at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake. She moved to Appleton and was employed at Bergstrom Car Dealership, Stumpf Ford Auto Parts, BioLife Plasma Center, and also at McDonald's for the early morning coffee clutches that came in.
Nancy had a great ability of being able to make people laugh and smile.
She is survived by her sister: Mickey (John) Knecht of Plymouth; Three nephews: Doug Knecht of Elkhart Lake, Bil Ulezelski of Oshkosh, and Craig Uzelelski of Milwaukee; One niece: Tammy Knecht (friend: Dave) of Plymouth; One grand-niece: Allie Kultgen of Plymouth; One grand-nephew: Logan Kultgen of Plymouth; Very dear friends: Jana and Reagen and all her chemo buddies.
She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Carol Ulezelski and brother-in-law: Tom.
Following Nancy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Sunday afternoon (November 6, 2016) at 5:00 P.M. at Community United Church of Christ in Elkhart Lake. Rev. Deborah Tyler, Pastor of the Church will officiate. Inurnment will be in the Zoar Salem Cemetery in the Town of Rhine.
Visitation will be held at CHURCH on Sunday (Nov. 6) from 4:00 P.M. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Nancy's name.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met and got to know Nancy when we both worked for the City of Sheboygan in the early 1980s. It was my pleasure. We were both so young, but we definitely had some very fun times together and I have great memories.

I had the pleasure of working with Nancy at Bio Life. She made me laugh even if I was having a bad day. Sometimes we would laugh so hard that it was hard to breathe and see. I will miss her laugh and spunk. RIP dear lady.
