Nee: Klein
Sandra "Sandy" Helen Bennin, age 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2013. She was born in Manitowoc on December 26, 1937, the daughter of the late Alvin and Johanna (Van Serke) Klein. Sandy graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc County in 1957. On April 15, 1959, she married her loving husband, Howard Bennin. Sandy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a nurse's aid and worked at Heritage Nursing Home and Sunny Ridge Nursing Home in Sheboygan. She enjoyed cross stitch, crocheting, and the Green Bay Packers, but her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family.
Sandy is lovingly survived by her husband, Howard Bennin of Sheboygan; children: Cynthia (Randy) Bartholomew of Sheboygan, Christine (David) Murray of Sheboygan, Catherine (Dennis) Murray of Fredonia, Peter (Beccie) Bennin of Plymouth, Andrew (Anna) Bennin of Sheboygan; grandchildren; Kurt (Nicole) Bartholomew, Katie Bartholomew, Kyle Bartholomew, Tristan (Amy) Murray, Jake Murray, David (D.J.) Murray, Thomas Murray, Joseph Murray, Jessica Murray, Gabriel Bennin, Nathan Bennin, Abigail Bennin, Mariah and Vincent Bennin; brother, John Klein, Tom Klein; and her loving twin sister, Suzanne Smith.
Sandy is preceded by her brother, Armond Klein.
Funeral services for Sandy will be held at 11:30am on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Ballhorn Chapels and Crematory, 1201 N. 8th Street, Sheboygan. Friends will be received for visitation at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. The committal will be held at Wildwood Cemetery.
Sandy's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff from Sharon S. Richardson Hospice and the staff at Morningside Nursing Center for all their care, compassion, love and support.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Sandy's name.

Uncle Howard, Cindy, Chris, Cathy, Peter, Andy, and your families. I want to express my sympathy to all of you for the loss of your wife and mother Sandy.
