Violet "Vi" Feldmann

Plymouth - Violet "Vi" Feldmann, age 84, of Plymouth, passed away on Saturday (April 10, 2021) at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility.

She was born in Milwaukee on May 11, 1936, daughter of the late Harold and Mabel (Steinhilber) Boesel. The family moved to the Town of Greenbush in 1948, and in 1955 Vi graduated from Plymouth High School.

On November 2, 1957, she married Howard Feldmann. They resided in Plymouth following their marriage. Howard preceded her in death on December 9, 1996.

Vi worked at S&R Cheese for many years until her retirement.

Throughout her life, Vi was very involved in many clubs and organizations throughout the Plymouth community. Her love of history led her to serve with the Plymouth Historical Society. She spent countless hours fighting to keep Rocky Knoll a part of Sheboygan County instead of being privately owned. She was also very active with the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary, serving as the President for the Dept. of Wisconsin - American Legion Auxiliary.

Vi always cherished spending time with her grandchildren, and attended their school and sporting events whenever she was able to.

She is survived by: Two children: Dan "Howie" (Alice) Feldmann and Lori (Randy) Schmitt, both of Plymouth; Four grandchildren: Val (Pablo) Lopez of Plymouth, Kirstin Feldmann of Appleton, Maddy Schmitt and Drew Schmitt, both of Plymouth; Great-grandchildren: PJ, Ryanne, and Pablo "Bubba" Lopez; and her special companion: George Miller of Plymouth.

Vi is further survived by: Two sisters: Norma Walker of TN, and Kathy Mathes of Plymouth; Brother-in-law: Ronald (Kay) Feldmann of Elkhart Lake; Three sisters-in-law: Bonnie Boesel of Plymouth, Doreen Miller, of Howards Grove, and Berneda Wittek of Glenbeulah; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents; Husband: Howard; Brothers: Ray and Bill Boesel; and many in-laws.

Visitation will take place at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Friday (April 16, 2021) from 3:00 - 6:00 P.M. with a prayer service to follow. Burial will be in the Greenbush Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Vi's name to the Plymouth Historical Society or Plymouth American Legion Auxiliary Unit #243.

The Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Plymouth is assisting the family. For online condolences, please visit www.suchonfh.com.

The family would like to send special thanks to the entire staff at Rocky Knoll for the extraordinary care and compassion given to Vi over the years. Rocky Knoll always had a special place in her heart!

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Vi was a strong and beautiful spirit that she shared easily. We enjoyed her company and the many visits we had with her especially while we were painting the Pfeifer Drugstore mural.
