Vivian Zinkgraf Obituary
Vivian E. Zinkgraf, 84, formerly of Sheboygan Falls and Randolph, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. She was currently residing in assisted care in DePere, WI, since 2011.

Vivian was born on February 18, 1930, in Sheboygan, daughter of Arno and Leona (Backhaus) Seider. She graduated from Random Lake High School in 1947, then attended a local teacher's college and taught for three years. On February 20, 1954, she married Ralph G. Zinkgraf at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Batavia, WI. They owned and operated Zinkgraf's Grocery in Randolph for more than 20 years, and then owned and operated Portage A & W until retirement. Ralph and Vivian were partners in work and life. They then retired to Sheboygan Falls to be closer to family. Ralph passed away on June 14, 2011.

Vivian was a member of Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. She was a creative person, which was revealed in all her beautiful heirloom hand-crafts, crocheting, knitting, and counted cross-stitch. Vivian will be remembered for her lovely smile and sense of humor that carried with her until her end.

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Joan (Mark) Handeland of DePere; her two sons, Dale (Debra) Zinkgraf of West Lakeland, MN and James (Lynn) Zinkgraf of Appleton; six grandchildren, Steven (Courtney) Handeland, Jessica (Eric) Lanier, Andrea and Dylan Zinkgraf, and Ryan and Rachel Zinkgraf; her treasured great-grandson, Leo Lanier; two brothers, Lyle (Barbara) Seider and Ken (Linda) Seider; one sister, Betty Spielvogel; and one sister-in-law, Marlys Seider.

Vivian was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ralph, her parents, one brother, Virgil Seider, and brothers and sister-in-law, Myron Spielvogel, and Robert and June Zinkgraf.

Funeral services to celebrate Vivian's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sheboygan with Rev. Timothy Kuske officiating. Entombment will take place at Garden of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan.

Relatives and friends may call at the church from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church of Green Bay, and Unity Hospice.
