Clarence Norbert Lorenz, age 86, of Sheboygan joined his two best friends, Herb and Roman Lorenz in eternal life on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at St. Nicholas Hospital. Clarence was born August 21, 1926 in Sheboygan Falls to the late Jacob and Clara (Schuessler) Lorenz. Clarence attended Sheboygan Falls area schools before enlisting in the Army. He proudly served his country from 1944-1946 during WWII in France and Germany in the US Army infantry.

On August 21, 1948, Clarence was united in marriage to the love of his life for 65years, Delores A Jackett, of Sheboygan at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls. Clarence worked his entire life, retiring from Plastics Engineering in 1990 after 25years. Along with being a faithful husband and a great father, Clarence found time to be an active member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister along with many other church acivities. Clarence was a longtime member of the Black River Advancement Association and a 38 year volunteer of the Black River Fire Department, serving several years as the day shift Captain.

Survivors include his wife Delores; four children - Timothy (Sandy) Lorenz, Richard (Barbara) Lorenz, Janice (Steve) Olig all from Sheboygan and Kathleen Lorenz of Appleton. Nine grandchildren - JoAnne Rhie Lorenz, Andy and John Teunissen, John, Chris, Paula Olig and Marc (Jen) Olig and Nicolas and Adam Lorenz. Nine great-grandchildren - Stephen, Magic, Sabastian and Rayne Lorenz, Jared Teunissen Kirkham, Sabrina and Anthony Nowak and Savannaha Nowak. Three great great-grandchildren Jaden and Babete Lorenz and Alise Crotty. Brother-in-law LeRoy (Donna) Jackett; and sisters-in-law Darlene and Marlene Jackett, one step sister Myrtle Krause and many nieces and nephews.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and brothers-in-law Mary (Gary) Jochmann, Adline (Joseph) Wallner and Rose Karbe TerMaat; two brothers and sisters-in-law Herbert (Betty) Lorenz and Roman (Irma) Lorenz. Father and mother-in-law Joseph Sr and Amelia Jackett, sisters-in-law Diane Teschendorf, Jean (Ralph Sr.) Lilla, brothers-in-law Joseph Jr., Jerome, Veron (MaryAnn) Jackett and Raymond (Delores) Jacquette and seven step sisters and brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 3, 2013 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1444 S. 11th Street, Sheboygan, with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating with military honors to follow. Family and friends may call at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S 12th St, Sheboygan on Sunday evening, June 2nd from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Monday morning at St. Peter Claver from 10:30 A.M. until the time of the Mass.

The family wishes to thank the 5th Floor doctors and staff at St. Nicholas Hospital for their kind and loving care to both Clarence and Delores this past week.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Clarence's name.
