Larry was beyond a doubt the absolute best leader I have ever worked with. His passing is a tremendous loss for his family, friends, and Christian education. May God bless his loved ones with peace and strength as they deal with this bittersweet time. Until we meet again, may we draw inspiration from his legacy.

Our sincere condolences to Mr. Kooi's family. Our prayers for Mrs. Kooi's recovery. He led AACS forward with the addition of the Upper School campus and all of those he touched with his belief and love for Christian schools.

Mr. Kooi touched thousands of lives at AACS alone. He had a vision to form our into not only an excellent school, but a community. He left the school's daily life only a few years ago, and left an enduring mark that we will remember.

Larry was a beautiful man. He was a visionary and put AACS on the track it is on today. He was my boss and my friend. My heart is broken for Gail :(

Larry was an excellent superintendent at Annapolis Area Christian School. He was very supportive of our school's special program for learning disabled students, NILD. My heart goes out to Gail and his entire family. I look forward to someday seeing him again in Glory!

Such a godly man. I remember when we had the farewell for Gail - he was so glad that she was highlighted for all of her years of service. You are in our prayers Gail.
