Ronald Daharsh Obituary

Ronald Daharsh

Sheboygan Falls - Ronald James Daharsh, 78, of Sheboygan Falls, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

Ron was born on January 3, 1940, in Sheboygan County to Wilmer and Lucille (Billmann) Daharsh. He was a graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. Ron served his country in the United States Army from 1963-1965. On April 27, 1963, Ron married Jeanne Altmeyer. Ron was employed at Thomas Industries as a Die Caster for 44 years.

Ron was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls, where he served as an usher and helped his wife, Jeanne in the church rectory. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, going up north to the cabin, bowling, playing baseball, playing cards, watching and attending sporting events of his children and grandchildren, where he was their "biggest fan" ; Ron most of all loved simply spending time with his family.

Ron was the foundation of a family strong in faith and love for each other. Throughout his health struggles, Ron courageously never complained about the pain he was feeling, and always stayed positive with his level 3. He lived by the conviction of "Only the strong have the courage to be gentle."

Ron is survived by his wife, Jeanne Daharsh of Sheboygan Falls; one daughter, Deborah (Mark) Hasler of Sheboygan Falls; three sons, Thomas (Cathy) Daharsh of East Dundee, IL, Timothy Daharsh of Sheboygan, Tony (Dorie) Daharsh of Neenah; nine grandchildren, Stephanie (Max) Martin, Matthew (fiance Jessi), and Staci (special friend Derek) Hasler; Aaron and Mitchell Daharsh; Ellie and Emma Daharsh; Leyton and Madelyn Daharsh; sister-in-law, Susie (Harold) Comins of Sheboygan.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Sharon and Sandra; parents-in-law, Albert and Gen Altmeyer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Patricia (Ralph) Mauer, and Jim (Kay) Altmeyer

A memorial service to celebrate Ron's life will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Joe Dominic officiating. An inurnment will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Blessed Trinity Parish from 2:30pm until the time of mass at 5:30pm.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in his name for The Disabled Veterans of Wisconsin and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Kumar, Nancy McLaughlin, the staff at Aurora Vince Lombardi Cancer Center and the staff and volunteers at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all their care and compassion that they gave to Ron. A most sincere thank you to Deb Grey, who was our guardian angel, who went above and beyond during the difficult struggles and decisions they endured during Ron's illness.
