KINGS MOUNTAIN - Arthur David Harding Jr., 57, of Grover, a loving husband, daddy, paw paw, brother and father-in-law, went home to be with the Lord on May, 15, 2018 at Testa Hospice House in Kings Mountain.
He was born in Cleveland County to the late Arthur David Harding Sr. and Janice Boheler Harding and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lexi Williams and his father-in-law, Lloyd Murray. David was a long time member of Kings Mountain Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed being outdoors and especially loved hunting, fishing and gardening and was a member of the Triple D Hunting Club. David had a big heart and would give anyone in need the shirt off of his back. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed trips to the mountains where he found peace sitting by the river. David will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Lora Harding; son: David Harding and wife Heather, Shelby; daughters: Heather Guthrie and husband Shane, Grover, NC and Amanda Britt, Dallas; sister: Wanda Gsellman and husband Kenny, Kings Mountain; grandchildren: Mackenzie Brockwell, Tyler Williams, Ethan Britt, Alan Micheal and Abbie Oliver, D.J., Madison and Shyanne Harding, Dakota, Joshua and Mason Guthrie; nephew: Justin Gsellman; mother-in-law: Lola Murray.
A celebration of life service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018, at Kings Mountain Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Jeff Wilson, Rev. Scott Ferguson and Rev. Winston Morrison officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2018, prior to the service at Kings Mountain Church of the Nazarene.
Interment will be at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County 951 Wendover Heights Dr. Shelby NC 28150.

David was a dear childhood friend, a good man who loved his family and friends unconditionally. My heart is broken for
his wonderful family. Hopefully Love and Gods Grace will sooth your hearts with time.
