Ethel Norman(1933 - 2018)

KINGS MOUNTAIN - Ethel Mae Boiln Norman, age 85, died Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Testa Hospice House. Born in Cherokee County, SC on March 5, 1933 Ethel was the daughter of the late Walter Jackson Bolin and Velma Caveny Bolin. She loved attending Dixon Presbyterian until she was unable to. She will be remembered as someone who would give her all to help others who were in need. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Summie Ray Norman.

Ethel is survived by her daughters; Gail Bailey of Kings Mountain, Sherry Allen and husband Dr. Ronald Allen of Red Wing, MN; three sisters; Marie Page of Kings Mountain, Sarah Strange and husband Bobby of Kings Mountain, Nancy Holmes of Kings Mountain and one brother, Gary Bolin and wife Judy; five grandchildren, Amanda Legrey and husband Erick of Jamestown, ND, Clifton Allen and wife Heather of Newport, VT, Suzanne Lendsverk and husband Kevin of Fosston, MN, Mark Styers of Kings Mountain, Jonathan Bailey and wife Stacy of Ft. Leavenworth, KS as well as five great grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews and special friend of the family Donna Treadway and many others.

The family of Ethel would like to thank all of the caregivers who loved and cared for her in recent years and all of the people of Dixon Presbyterian Church.

Funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Dixon Presbyterian Church with Rev. Randy Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 1 pm until 2 pm in the church sanctuary. Private entombment will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
