Passed away peacefully at Carlingview Manor, Ottawa, April 18, 2018 at the age of 96, 3 months before her 97th birthday. Ragnfrid Lexow (nee von Krogh), beloved wife of the late Kjell Heiberg Lexow (2004), born in Oslo Norway, worked for the Norwegian Permanent Delegation to the United Nations, New York City, the Norwegian Foreign Office in Paris, Montreal and Toronto. They lived their last retirement years in Knowlton, Qc.
Loving mother of Kathryn Lexow, now residing in Gatineau, Qc. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Nixon (Chardé), my "favourite and only grandchild''. Great-grandmother of Cédric Alexander Nixon. Dear aunt to Anne Coughlin, Toronto, On, Diane Muir, Burlington, On. and Mona, Lars, Birger and the late Erik (2018) Christensen, Oslo, Norway and their families.
Ragnfrid will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She will be laid to rest at the Knowlton Cemetery, 178 St. Paul's Rd, on Saturday, May 26 at 11am. Following the service, family and friends are invited to a reception to pay their respects and celebrate her life, at the Knowlton United Church, Knowlton Rd.
