Ronald Louis Kouri Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Ronald Louis Kouri announce his passing at home in Greely, Ontario, on Monday, December 21, 2020, at the age of 86 after a brief illness. He will be forever remembered by the love of his life, his wife of 61 years, Jacqueline (nee Welch), and his children Peter, Cindy (Jeff Phillips), and Christine (John Shipley). Ron will also be lovingly remembered by his much adored 9 grandchildren Katherine, Carter, Danielle, Marasia, Caeler, Maia, Sarah, Lauren and Campbell, as well as his 4 siblings Viola, Robert, Sandra and Cheryl. Ronald was a proud graduate of McGill University's Faculty of Dentistry and had a thriving 39 year practice in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Following his retirement in 1997, he and Jackie served a 2 year humanitarian mission in Haiti on behalf of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was known for his gentle and kind spirit, love of golf and tennis, but most important to him, his unconditional love and devotion to his family. A private family service will be held. Bill and I would love it when each year Ron and Jackie came to Fl. and stayed for 6 months just one mile from us! What good times we had, sometimes we would go sailing. Jackie LOVED sailing, Ron not so much but would go along because Jackie loved it. We love and miss you. Eternal friends, The Meadows.

Dr. Kouri was my first dentist over 45 yrs ago. After all that time, and many dentists he was always my favorite. Best wishes to his family at this time of loss. He will be fondly remembered.
