Dear Rhonda, Elizabeth, and Addison, I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Ernie. As the years go by, many happy memories pop into my mind of our good times at your home in Shreveport or out on the town and it always makes me smile. We had such joyful fun times with Ernie! I vividly remember you, Rhonda, playing the piano so beautifully during one of your holiday get togethers and Ernie watching you with affection and admiration. Ernie was always a delightful man; always cheerful, exuberant, and kind. His joie de vivre was unmistakable and contagious. At such a difficult time it is comforting to know that Ernie is in the loving arms of our Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Rhonda, Elizabeth, and Addison. Much love to you all.

To all the Beauvais families,
Our hearts are sadden by the accidental death of Ernie. But as we tell friends and co-workers that we are related, then people start sharing the happy memories of Earnest Texaco, Earnest, Doris, Linda, Ernie, Donnie, and Kenny. It is the good times that help get us through the bad times. Praying that God comforts Ernie's immediate family and all the extended close Beauvais families.

To the Beauvais Family: Ernie's mother Doris and my mother Edna Lusk were good friends, sharing a love of antiques and antiquing. They also shared interest in each others' children, so I heard a lot about Ernie and his siblings. What a wonderful legacy he leaves, and what a blessing he was! I read bits of THE TIMES online, so I don't know about his accident, but I am very sorry for your loss. May his soul rest in peace, and may light perpetual shine upon him.
