SHREVEPORT, LA - A service will be held at Shreveport Bible Church in Shreveport, La on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 3:30 p.m.

Dorothy Ann Stanton Strozier - fondly known as Dee - was born to Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Stanton, Jr. on July 28, 1926 in Atlanta, Ga. She attended Agnes Scott

College. She went to be with her Lord on February 3, 2013 in Baton Rouge, La.

Dee was a homemaker, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She and husband, Frank, were active in churches and ministered often to countless friends, acquaintances, and loved ones. She was known as a prayer warrior; a giver to many, Bible study leader, enjoyed baking and sharing delicious oatmeal cookies and banana bread. Her faith, family, and relationships were her values which were reflected in her life.

Mrs. Strozier was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank Strozier, and grandson Matt Gilbert. Her grandfather, Frank L.B. Stanton, was the first poet laureate of Georgia.

She is survived by son Frank and wife Sandy, daughter Cheryl Lange and late husband Bill, daughter Dorothy Holt and husband Stan, daughter Anne Gilbert and husband Dave; grandchildren - Russ and wife Charity, Alex and wife Erin, Rebecca, Deborah, Johanna, Jonathan, Kate, Andrew, Rachel and husband Levi.

Family, relatives, and friends will miss her and will be forever grateful that she shared her faith and her love with all of us.
