Vicki was born Ellen Victoria Bickham on December 8, 1949 in Vivian, LA. She was the daughter of Calvin Eugene Bickham and Mildred Alice Bickham (nee Wood) of Bossier City. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, James D. Lewis, her daughter, Lee Ellen Brunson Sicilia (and husband Shawn) of Bossier City, two sisters, Leah Volentine (and husband Ray) of Dixie, and Betsy Moore (and husband Mike) of White Hall, AR, along with other extended family. She was predeceased by her parents and her two brothers, David Bickham of Edmond, OK, and Calvin Bickham of Bossier City, respectively.

Vicki graduated from Bossier High School in Bossier City, LA in 1967. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Home Economics from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches and a Master's Degree in Home Economics from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston in 1975. She worked for several years in the Louisiana Aging Network, first as a field representative for the Governor's Office of Elderly Affairs and then as director of the Bossier Area Agency on Aging/Council on Aging. She then returned to LSU Cooperative Extension Service. She was also active in many other capacities in her church and is well loved by all her church family.

Vicki will be remembered for her kindness and generosity, which was apparent to all who knew her. She was a cherished friend to so many and an indescribably wonderful mother, not only to her daughter, but to others in need of love and compassion in their lives.
