Josiah Lee "J.L." Wilson III
J.L. passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Baton Rouge General Hospital on Bluebonnet at age 75. He was native of Potters Point, Texas and a resident of Port Allen. He was a retired reporter and feature writer at the Shreveport Times. J.L. owned Wilson Wicker Works, antique restoration. In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated and a celebration of J.L.'s life will be held at a later date at Core Cemetery in Potters Point, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Evva Lena Zeagler Wilson; a daughter, Mary Wilson Arrasmith and husband John Robert Arrasmith; two granddaughters, Audrey Lena Arrasmith and Shiloh Elizabeth Arrasmith all of Port Allen. J.L. was preceded in death by his son, Josiah "Jody" Lee Wilson IV; parents, Josiah Lee Wilson Jr. and Eunice Light Wilson; and a sister, Glenis Wilson Tanner.
