Shreveport - Funeral services for Catherine Pickens Hawkins, 90, will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall St., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. until service time. Officiating the service will be Reverend Jim Freeman.

Catherine was born on June 6, 1930 in Mansfield, Louisiana to Lee and Ruth Pickens and passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in Ringgold, Louisiana.

Catherine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willis Hawkins; son, Thomas Hawkins; daughter, Deborah Evans; three brothers; two sisters, and grandson, Daniel Hornsby. She is survived by her daughter, Susan May; daughter-in-law, Martha Hawkins; granddaughter, Hollie Hawkins; grandsons, Thomas J Hawkins, Zachary May (Heather) and Justin May (Leslie) and great-grandchildren, Alyssa Rougeau, Jacob and Jordan Hornsby.
