Shreveport, LA - Shreveport Oilman Frank J. Hall, 94, died Sunday morning May 13, 2018, from

complications of vasculitis. The son of pioneer Oil Man W. E. Hall and Virgil Jeter Hall of Plain Dealing and Mooringsport respectively. Frank was born in Shreveport August 5,1923 and with the exception of his service with the Army Air Corps during WWII lived his entire life in Shreveport. His wife of Sixty-Six years Dorothy Lucille Viosca Hall, and his older brother Judge W. E. Hall, Jr. of Deridder, LA, predeceased him. He is survived by his four children Frank J. Hall, Jr. and wife Regina of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Christine Hall Mead of Silverthome, CO, Katherine E. Hall and husband Ed Bethune of Newton, MS and Sharon Lynn Hall Lasiter of Shreveport and four granddaughters, Lauren Lasiter of Baton Rouge, Marion Lasiter Baldacci and her husband Michelle of Brooklyn, NY, Crystal Lasiter Ahroon and her husband Bret of Denver, CO, Sarah Cherry Heiser and her husband Chad of St. Francisville, LA, and a great-grandson A. J. Heiser.

Frank was a Sportsman. He hunted ducks from Pecan Island to Stuttgart, doves and Quail in Bossier and Mexico, fished out of Destin and down the Amazon and up to Alaska. He and Dorothy traveled the United States, Europe, Russia, Alaska and Mexico together and were high school sweet hearts graduating from C. E. Byrd High School at the beginning of World War II. A successful businessman Frank loved his work and had a reputation as a

fair trader after sixty-eight years in the oil patch. He was proud to be a member of the First Methodist Church of Shreveport, and a Charter member of the Petroleum Club where he was a regular in the Men ' s Grill. He enjoyed the friendship of many fine men and women well remembered and greatly missed by the extended Hall family. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Brenda Whittington for her loyal service as secretary and family friend, Dr. Scott McRight, The Skilled Nursing Staff of The Oaks, the wonderful and caring sitters of Kathy Phillip's Home Health Professional Assistants, Virgie Washington, La Brenda O' Neal, Allan Semien and Linda Semien who, together with a most special lady Patsy Bailey, made our father's last years as comfortable as possible.

Honoring Frank as pallbearers will be Johnny Whittington, Ed Bethune, Clay Cathy, Tom Thompson, Chad Heiser, and Mary Ann Whitaker.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Forest Park East Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Dr. Pat Day. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street, Shreveport, LA with the burial to follow.
