Allison,

I just learned yesterday of Pete's passing. Please accept my condolences. He was one of the hardest working people I have known and certainly one of the funniest. He lightened up a lot of potentially boring meetings.
Words are inadequate but please know that our thoughts are with you.

Those of us in Michigan only had Pete in our daily lives for a short time, but for me, that period of interaction helped shape who I am-I witnessed his honesty, his integrity, his careful direction, and his sly sense of humor.
When I informed some of the guys who had the pleasure of working with him, and for him, that he had passed, there was a genuine feeling that the world had just gotten a little darker-although we had not spoken to Pete for several years, we sometimes talked about him, and always knew that he was out there making an impact on other people, just like he had impacted us.
He talked openly of his love for his mother, his love of his dogs (his kids), and his love and admiration for his southern belle, Alison.
Life is a gift, comprised of many gifts along its path, and for me, Pete is a gift that I will always remember.
God bless all of you touched by this man, and God bless you Pete.

My father called me today with the sad news of Pete's passing. I knew Pete in high school. To look at his picture now, it is identical to the Pete I knew then. And in all I read about Pete today, he is exactly as I would have expected him to be; a fine husband, co-worker and friend that everyone was lucky enough to have known. I am so sorry and sad for our loss and will miss his smile but I am so grateful for the wonderful memories I have of Pete.

Mr. Pete, as I fondly called him, is a man who unselfishly put so much of his time and effort to manage our Manufacturing department. I worked with him for over 5 years and through these years he put 100% of his love and dedication to his work.

I will deeply miss Mr. Pete and I will treasure all the good and funny memories of him.

Pete was a good man. I can't think of anyone who have ever met him that didn't love the guy. While this guest book is full of examples of his dedication to work, it's important to remember what a good friend and warm person he was. He had no ego when it came to helping others. I'm glad to have known him and to have had shared a lot of laughs and stories with him.

My deepest sympathy to our beloved Pete. I have worked with Pete for 5 1/2 years. I honestly have not seen a man so dedicated to his work and peers. I am still amazed how Pete memorised every face and task when I sometimes couldn't remember what I ate for lunch. We would always butt heads on different issues but then manage to laugh about it later. His legacy of greatness will definitely be remembered in our Manufacturing area. We will all greatly miss his wonderful presence.

I had the privelege of knowing Pete for 5+ years since he started at Impax. Fine fine human being. St. Peter paged Pete and instantly he comes, just like at work. We page him and he's there -- ever helpful, ever gracious, ever kind and ever funny. He comes in a room and we all wake up. He brightened every discussion, every meeting, every problem solving. Even in conflict resolution, his sense of humor came through and made things well. I could see him now ordering those heaven folks what to do, how to solve this, how to make that work. "Life" up there will never be the same with Pete around! We will all miss him, each with our own personal memory of dear dear Pete. God bless dear friend and rest in peace; you're now free from writing IRs!
