SHREVEPORT, LA - Services celebrating the life of Betty M. Hack will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Father Philip Michiels.

Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Betty was born December 31, 1931 in Kilgore, TX and passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Grace Home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Betty was a retired bookkeeper. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt and will be dearly missed.

Her son, Ronald Edward Hack, parents, Gleaves and Ola Crump Humble, and aunt, Mattie Fetzer, preceded Betty in death. Beautiful memories will be shared by her husband of 60 years, Leo Hack; daughters, Donna Brown and her husband, Paul and Patsy Thomas; grandchildren, Stacey Vassar and husband, Rick, Natalie McDaniel and husband, Zach, Jeff Brown and wife, Heather, Rob Thomas, and Joe Brown and wife, Jackie; brother, Kenneth Humble and wife, Chris; nephew, Brian Humble; niece, Pam Sander; and nine great grandchildren.

Honoring Betty, as pallbearers will be Jeff Brown, Joe Brown, Rob Thomas, Rick Vassar, Zach McDaniel, and Bob Thomas.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr.Robert Taylor, the staff at 4 East, especially Jamie, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center for the professional and loving care shown to Betty and the family. We will be forever grateful to each of you.
