Ida Morales Beloved mother, grandmother & great-grandmother, 96 Ida Morales, 96 of Matawan, New Jersey passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 Born Sunday, August 3, 1924, in New York City, she was one of 13 children born to the late Anthony and Theresa Cutinella. Ida was raised in Brooklyn. She would meet and marry the love of her life, Jack Morales. The couple would raise their own children in Brooklyn. Eventually they would move to Staten Island. Ida was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived her life for her family. Ida was an excellent cook, and enjoyed having the family together. Ida was predeceased by her beloved husband of almost 60 years, Jack, and by her loving daughter Jacqueline. Ida is survived by her loving daughters, Francine Morales, and Theresa Williams and her husband Michael, by her loving son in law Anthony Lombardi, by her cherished grandsons, Christopher Lentini and his wife Marissa, Anthony Lombardi and his wife Lauren, and Daniel Lombardi and his wife Margherita, and by her 6 adoring great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Most Holy Redeemer Church located at 133 Amboy Road Matawan, New Jersey 07747. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey. Mom, My heart is breaking now that you are no longer with us. You were more than my mom you were my best friend, my confidant, my hero. I was blessed to have you as my mother. Thank you for giving me a beautiful life and everything I needed to become the woman I am today. You are everything to me and I only hope I was as good a dtr to you as you were a mom to me.
