Jean (Vasta) Cannavo Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother Jean Cannavo (nee Vasta), a resident of Grant City for over 60 Years, passed away on June 7, 2021. The owner of Volare Travel, she was the beloved Wife of the late Frank; devoted Mother of Jeanne, Karen Holm, Marc & Paul; loving Sister of Marie Kozen (Edward), and the late Joseph Vasta; adored Grandmother of Sarah Lopez, Alex Holm, Marissa, Justin, Brianna, Nicole & Alicia Cannavo; cherished Great Grandmother of Rowen Lopez. Jean was a Long Time Member of AARP #643, a Faithful Parishioner of St. Christopher R.C. Church, Proud Girl Scout Leader, and Former President of the St. Christopher Ladies Guild. Friends may call at Hanley Funeral Home, 60 New Dorp Lane, on Friday 3:00PM-8:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday 10:00AM at St. Christopher R. C. Church. Interment to follow at Moravian Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers, Donations in Memory of Jean would be appreciated to The American Cancer Society/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I have known Jean since the early 1960's when our husbands were members of the 30-and-Over Basketball team from St. Christopher's. Such a sweet and loving person - she will be missed.
