Michael Shea Beloved brother, son & uncle had a 'big heart & sense of humor,' 39 Michael was born June 1, 1982 in Staten Island, NY and went home with the Lord on Thursday, June 3, 2021, in Manhattan. He attended P.S.41, OLQP, Farrell H.S., New Dorp H.S., and Westchester Community College for Musical Engineering. Michael had a big heart and sense of humor. He loved nature, animals, music, and children loved him. As a child he loved playing basketball, soccer, and skateboarding. He worked for several party rental/entertainment companies and various maintenance and cleanups. He acquired his food handlers license and was a certified dog trainer. His faith, friends, good heart, grit, and determination kept him going. Michael persevered through much sickness, heartache, and trials for as long as he could. He is survived by his parents, John and Millie, brother Daniel, sisters Amber and Alanna and nieces and nephews. Visiting is at Hanley Funeral Home from 2-4 & 7-9 Wednesday, 6/9/21. Funeral is on Thursday, 6/10/21, at Hanley's at 8:30 a.m., and a Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace at 9:30 a.m.and burial in St. Mary's cemetery. Dear Millie, John, Danny, Amber and Alanna: I have the sweetest memories of Michael. As a little boy, he once stopped playing to help me plant daffodils in my front yard. My heart goes out to you all.
