Victor M. Trujillo(1961 - 2018)

California native son, Victor Manuel Trujillo, lost his battle with cancer on June 9, 2018, three years to the day that his father Francisco died. Victor was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle. Born in Van Nuys, California and moving with his family to Granada Hills, he attended St. Euphrasia Grammar School and Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks where he was a star athlete in Baseball, Football and Soccer. He attended Glendale City College and Brigham Young University on a soccer scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Cal State University Northridge.

He spent the whole of his professional life with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. He worked for over thirty years, rising through the ranks from working in the jails and doing patrol duty in the outlying Los Angeles County areas to eventually attaining the post of Commander.

Victor M. Trujillo touched and influenced the lives of many people and will be greatly missed. He cared greatly for kids and was heavily involved in youth soccer. Victor leaves behind his adoring wife, Dr. Tina Bradley Trujillo, his former wife Michele Spahn-Trujillo, his children Tera Trujillo and Alec Trujillo, his mother Maria H. Trujillo, his brother John Trujillo and his sister Pilar Trujillo-DeGreiff. Victor M. Trujillo now rests in peace and lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Vic, always compassionate, kind and caring, had a strong desire to help those youth most at risk to move toward a positive path in life. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Santa Clarita based organization called the Youth Project. This group serves over 25,000 teens and families in the Santa Clarita Valley. Donations may be made at The direct link is
