Passed away at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie on Sunday March 7, 2021. She was 86. Barbara Kay (nee Ellidge), beloved wife of Derek Kay for 67 years. Loving mother of Steven (Carolina), Tony (Pamela) and Martin (Monique). Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Andrew), Kristopher (Jody), Andrew (Krystyna) Mikel (Victoria), Daniel (Samantha), Tracy( Neal), Heather (Ryan), Michelle (Andrew) and Jeffrey (Mackenzie) Great grandmother to Jonas, Kyvas, Korie, Callie, Lyra, Ezra, Griffin, Nora and Aaron. Barbara will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation at this time and a service will be planned at a later date.
