Died peacefully on Wednesday March 10, 2021 at his home at the age of 86. Gord of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of the late Sue. Loving father of Gord (Dorothy), David and Doug. Cherished grandfather of Robin Crosby (Jeff Hammond), Terry Crosby (Brenda Johnston) and Makala Currie and great grandfather of Shelby Lyn and Auston. Gord is survived by his sister Charlotte Holroyd and brother Harvey (Lee) Currie. He is predeceased by siblings Jean Bowens and Bruce and Alex Currie. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours. Gord was a good man with a bit of a stubborn streak. He loved to work with the earth whether it be on the farm or in his garden. He was a long time employee of Coca-Cola and he had an extensive collection of Coke memorabilia of which he was very proud. He will be missed. The family will gather this summer for the interment of his urn at Stayner Union Cemetery.
