My mother Jean and I would like to express our sincere condolences to Ron's family for their loss. Ron's mother, Irene, was best friends with my mother Jean, and Irene's brother Hank Bryla was my father, Stan Biega's, best man at their wedding in November 1948. I have fond memories of Irene visiting our family home and I spent several afternoons hearing the most beautiful opera played in her home on St. Clarens Ave. in Toronto. She always spoke lovingly of her children including her son Ron; may he rest in blessed peace, now reunited with those family members that preceded him at Heaven's gate.
