Dear Edith and Diane:
I was so sorry to read of Steve' passing. I still remember attending school at Christ the King with Steve and riding my bike to your house in Jerome. Those thoughts bring back found memories and make me realize how quickly time passes because it does not seem like that long ago! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Edith and Diane:
I was so sorry to read of Steve's passing. We had so much fun growing up in Jerome, roaming the creek and the neighborhood, riding our bikes behind the bug spray truck, fishing for crawdads and turtles. Your house was always busy with kids. Diane and Steve reruiting us to help put on shows in the basement for the kids, Diane teaching us dancing(my brother Jeff got his head stuck in the stairs and Mr. Cape had to get it out!), the spook houses for Halloween with the cold spaghetti for brains! And your wonderful sugared popcorn that I can still taste, 50 years later. Then of course Steve was my school buddy. We sat by each other forever at Christ the King because of the "Alphabetical Seating Chart" and in Kindergarten for Mary's May Day procession he was my partner - Sister Regina picked us to put the wreath on Mary's statue - the biggest honor of all. Steve was always thoughtful, imaginative and so much fun! He introduced me to the joys of antique books at Prairie Archives and gave me two beautiful antique books which got me started on my lifelong book collection. In fact, every time I moved or reorganized my collection, I didn't know whether to thank him or make him come and help! Although I have not seen him for many years, he has never been far from my thoughts. He was a wonderful person and will be missed. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you both.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. It's funny to think of us growing into adults and than hearing one of our friend from the neighborhood passes away. I hope both of you can find peace and comfort in stevens passing.
My prays are for all of your family.

Edith & Diane,
I was sorry to read that Steve had passed away. It was great growing up accross the street from you all in Jerome. Your doors were always open for all the kids on the block. I can still remember ridding our bikes to Gundy's on Walbash. Steve was a good buddy.

Dear Edith and Diane: You are in my thoughts and prayers. I never knew Steve, but he sounds and looks like an interesting person and one whom i know i would have enjoyed to know. It's is so hard to lose one that is so close. Please know that you are not alone.

Steve and I were best friends during the awkward middle school years at Christ the King. He introduced me to Edgar Rice Burroughs for which I am forever grateful. Although I haven't been in contact with Steve since high school I vividly remember many afternoons hanging out in his bedroom listening to music.

Steve & I were in grade school together at Christ the King. I had lost track of him over the years but was saddened when I read his name. You don't really know a person in grade school to know all they will become. It was interesting to read what he had done in his life, his love of animals and his profession in rare books. Diane, I believe you were in my sister Sally's class.
Sorry for your loss.

Edith & Diane,
Very sorry to hear that Steven has left us. We sure enjoyed growing up together as neighbors, and I had not
seen Steven in years, but still remember the 50's & 60's growing up in Jerome and all the kids in the area, camping out and spook houses in the basement, and all that fun kid stuff.
We share your sadness,
at this time of loss.
