LaKeatha Hatchett Obituary
Springfield, IL—LaKeatha Armiece DeShawn Hatchett was born on June 30, 1975 to Teretha Hatchett and Arthur "Artie" Harmon III. She passed from her earthly life to her eternal life on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the age of 42. LaKeatha was the faithful and loving mother to her daughter LaBreah Marsai Hatchett who preceded her in death on March 31, 2016.
She was a graduate of Springfield Southeast High School, class of 1993. She worked for the State of Illinois at the Department of Healthcare and Family Services in Medical and Child Support. She was currently employed by the Department of Human Services where she was a Human Service caseworker.
LaKeatha was preceded in death by her angel, LaBreah Marsai Hatchett, her maternal grandfather, Robert Earl Hatchett, Sr.; her paternal grandfather, Arthur Harmon Jr.; her nephew Kalani Hatchett; cousin, Danielle Allen and her aunt, Louisiana Hatchett of Honolulu, HI.
Left to cherish her memory are, her parents; mother, Teretha Hatchett and a special father figure, Lugene Collins, and her father Arthur "Artie"Harmon (Linda); four sisters – Tracy Buckley-Jones (Joseph), Clairese Hatchett, Marlesha Hatchett and Lacee Harmon; two brothers – Eugene Collins and Artez Harmon; Grandparents – Margie Moy (James) and Arimentha Harmon; five nieces, two great nieces and four nephews; several aunts and uncles and a host of cousins and very special friends.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Abundant Faith Christian Center, 2525 Taylor Avenue, Springfield, IL, Saturday, August 5, 2017 beginning at 9:30A.M. until the funeral service at 11:00A.M. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Please visit the online "Life Remembered Story" at www.bischandsonfuneralhome.com.

Keatha, my squeaking my voice sunshine, radiant rose gone too soon. You made this world a beautiful place and it was always so amazing to watch you fill any room with love, joy, strength, laughter , and realness.
