Joseph A. Lambert, Jr. 64, a resident of Mount Vernon passed away at his home on Saturday, June 21, 2014.
He was born in Bridgeport, CT on January 1, 1950, the son of Joseph Andrew Sr. and Josephine Lambert.
Joe worked for Brown and Root Construction as a pipe fitter at various refineries for many years.
He married Elizabeth Ann Swain on November 23, 1994 in Las Vegas, NV.
Joe loved golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Lambert of the family home; step-son, Rob Lawson of Lake Stevens, WA; stepdaughters, Cathy VanZanten and her husband Gary of Lynden, WA and their children Travis and Cailey VanZanten, Gina Smith of Burlington, WA; brother, Ted Lambert and his wife Marcia of Bellingham, WA; three sisters, Jan Kales and her husband Steve of Bellingham, WA, Jackie Trott and her husband Tim of Bellingham, WA, Lisa Lambert of CA; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Gwen Cook.
In honoring his wishes there will be no services.
Memorials may be given to The Hospice of the Northwest, 227 Freeway Drive, Suite A, Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
Arrangements are under the care of Kern Funeral Home.
