Robert P. Maddox, 40 years old, passed away in the family home June 4, 2014. He was born August 29, 1973 in Mount Vernon, WA.
His mother, Laura E. Coleman preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter Chiann Desiree; father Steve Maddox; brother Joshua Maddox and his son Isaiah; sisters, Teyah Maddox of California, Kyndra Buster of Oregon, Rachel Koch of Colorado; stepmother Tori Balfour of Oregon; his aunt Theresa Jones and her children; and grandmother Mary Maddox of Mount Vernon. Also many cousins, aunts and friends.
Robert was a member of the Makah Tribe and spent a few years there as his mother lived there. He worked at the Makah Maiden Restaurant for years.
Animals liked Robert and gave him solace and love - he leaves behind a very special cat, Twinkie, whom we all cherish. He liked to play jokes on us. He had a unique sense of humor. He liked games, RC cars, comedy shows and did yard work for others and on his grandmother's home. He also helped friends with their cars. He was a creative cook and enjoyed making pies in the summer after picking wild blackberries.
We all loved him and will always miss him - especially his bear hugs. Sometimes we can't say goodbye, but he will be in our hearts forever.
His memorial will be Saturday June 14th, 2014 at Hawthorne Cemetery.
