Vickie was born to Robert Gerald Edwards and Charmian Claire Mason in Bartow, Florida on December 15, 1955 and passed March 25, 2011 at Mira Vista Care Center in Mount Vernon. She was 55 years old.
She lived in Florida for most of her life. In 1999 she moved with her mother to Mount Vernon. Vickie took pleasure in dancing, word search puzzles and needlepoint, making coasters for almost everyone she knew. Vickie loved singing with her singing group "Out of the Ashes". Vickie bowled with Special Olympics and on numerous years took home the Gold. Her collection of Disney's Goofy was extensive. She was an avid Mariner and Seahawk fan, passionate country music follower, and enjoyed watching wrestling.
Vickie loved her country and held the red, white and blue in esteem reverence. She volunteered her time at the Democratic Office, Elks Club and Community Action. She was quick with a compliment, eager with a hug and everyone she met soon became her friend. Her love for family and friends was unconditional. Our angel has gone to be with God.
She is survived by her mother, Charmian Claire Mason of Mount Vernon; her sister S. Latrelle (Trel) McRae and her husband Kim of Stanwood; her brother Robert Henry Mason of California; her nephew Kyle William McRae and her niece Char Nicole McRae, both of Stanwood, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Florida.
