Lee Fredrick Anderson, 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at his home in Sedro-Woolley, WA.

Lee was born on November 30, 1948 in Mt. Vernon and was a lifelong resident of Skagit County. Lee worked as a mechanic for over 40 years, first at Anderson Auto Repair in Mt. Vernon with his father, and then in Anacortes. He enjoyed motorcycles, bowling, pool, sports, and was an avid golfer.

Lee served two tours in the Vietnam War in the Army, where he was awarded 6 medals.

Lee is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Abra Anderson; grandchildren Hannah, age 15, and Lauren, age 10; siblings Helen Suthers, Norman Anderson, Joyce Suthers, Donald Anderson, Carolyn Geisendorf, Linda Lyon, Nancy Adams, Evelyn Venesky, and Mark Anderson; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Norris and Borghild Anderson.

A private graveside service will be held this week.
