James William Brown Sr. passed away of cancer at the age of 75 yrs old on June 8, 2014

He was born on November 2, 1938 to George Brown and Lois Dunning in Moorhead, MN.

James served as an Officer in the United States Air force from 1956-1962.

He had a love and a passion for his family with unconditional love, Boeing aircrafts of all types, remote controlled RC Helicopters and planes, drawing fancy cars, inventing the Air Propelled twin engine motorcycles and cars as he entered them into several parades in Minnesota, and just plain inventing anything that came to his mind. He was a well educated man in all ways of life and taught a lot of people around him that wanted to learn how to do something he invented and was building, his air propped vehicles. He will be missed by those who loved him with respect and unconditional love.

He moved to Mount Vernon, WA in October 2011 and lived in discounted apartment that was for disabilities for seniors. James found out he had bronchial lung cancer in November of 2012 and underwent 33 weeks of Radiation and 7 weeks of Chemotherapy at the VA hospital in Seattle, WA from Feb 4, 2014 through March 27, 2014. His daughter Laurie Sanders assisted with him during the fight of his cancer treatments and stayed with him through the whole duration of the time. He was he happy to know he was in remission in May 2013 but it never really went away and he knew that. Thanks to all those doctor's and nurse's that assisted in Mr. Brown's care at the VA Mount Vernon, and Seattle, WA. Also a special thank you for his care the Mira Vista Care Center for taking such great care of James while he lived there. He truly loved you all. He will be missed. He was told to stop smoking for a long time until he finally stopped on February 8, 2014 after 57 yrs of smoking. The Lord then called him home on June 8, 2014.
