December 27, 1963 -
May 17, 2018

Nina Neitzel, 54, of Anacortes, passed away at Harborview Medical Center on May 17, 2018 after being chronically ill for many years.

She was born on December 27, 1963 in Mount Vernon, WA, the daughter of Kenneth and Margaret Keith.

She was raised in Anacortes and loved scrapbooking, being a part of Summit Park Bible Church and later First Baptist Church. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends.

In 1990 she married the love of her life, Steven Neitzel of Elkhart, Indiana. Four years later, they had their only child Ashleigh.

She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Margaret Keith, and her uncle, Rellis Skinner.

She is survived by her husband Steve Neitzel of 27 years, daughter Ashleigh Neitzel of Anacortes, her sister Mary Vickers of Anacortes, nephew Kenneth (Tina) Huffman of Warrenton, OR, niece Kasandra Huffman and family of Cordova, AK, and many cousins and extended family in the Anacortes, Washington and Michigan areas.

Nina was a kind, caring, and devout Christian woman of great faith who always displayed God's love and compassion toward others despite her own struggles. Her bright smile, gentle and gracious personality, and witty sense of humor drew people to her.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Harborview Medical Center who took such great care of her in her final days, with a special thanks to the nursing staff at Island Hospital, and Dr. Kotal along with his team at Island Internal medicine.

At the family's request there will be no services.

Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel of Anacortes, WA.
