Patsy June Pittman, 76, of Sedro-Woolley, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 18, 2014 at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born on March 3, 1938 in Sedro-Woolley to Leland and Betty (Davis) Cabe. She attended school in Sedro-Woolley and continued her education thru career related education.

On August 20, 1954, she married the love of her life, Harold Pittman, and raised their family staying in the same home for 55 years before moving closer to town. She was so excited to be celebrating their 60th anniversary this summer.

Patsy was asked to fill a secretary position at Samish School until they could hire someone, which turned into a 30 year career in which she received many achievement certificates with the Sedro-Woolley School District, a job which she loved and was so loved by many, with everlasting friendships formed.

Patsy also loved to do volunteer work. She was involved in the United General Hospital Auxiliary, two local soup kitchens and for many craft projects at Samish School. That's the kind of person she was.

Patsy's entire life was devoted to her family, as well as anyone who needed some TLC. Many received homemade soups and rolls at their doorstep if she heard they were ill, often when she herself should have been lying down. She loved to cook for her family, decorate for the holidays, gardening, camping, enjoyed attending Christ The King Church in Mount Vernon, decorating cakes, crocheting and her flower arrangements were a favorite to so many.

We all have wonderful memories of the last few months of some vacations at a lake house, Winthrop and Leavenworth and our homes, where we were altogether cherishing every second.

If you knew her, you loved her. She made everyone feel like they were her favorite, touching so many lives. If you asked her grandchildren, I'm sure each one thought they were her favorite...and they were right.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Harold Pittman; 2 daughters, Debbie Conner (Patrick) and Vicki Christofferson (Scott); 3 grandchildren, Kelli Segars (Daniel), Brianne Noyes (John), Krista Christofferson (fiancée Steve) and 3 great-grandchildren, Alexis and Mackenzie Noyes and Kennedy Barclay; her sister, Jeannie Halverson (Leonard) and many special nieces and nephews and family members she loved dearly. She also leaves behind a special kitty, Bailey.

Patsy was preceded in death by parents, Leland and Betty Cabe; brother, Danny Cabe and 2 sisters, Donna Queen and Baby Joanne Marie.

A special thank you to United General Hospital; Dr.Mathey and staff, Hospice of the Northwest (Jenny B) and loving family and friends for all their support.

Remembrances may be made to North Puget Cancer Center, 2000 Hospital Drive, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery.
