I am sorry to hear of Carol's death. She was vibrant and talented, fun-loving and cheerful. I admired her and think very fondly of my time in swing choir, chorus, etc. How did she ever have time to do all that? Reading the notice of her death also brought lovely memories of fun times spent at church/YF w/ her great kids. Ruth, why do I so clearly remember you quoting, "Don't eat yellow snow." My heart goes out to you and Steve and Jim and Ken. Your mom was special.

Carol Davis nurtured my love of music and helped me to come out of my shell. I still love to sing and think of my 4 years in her choir classes as some of my best educational experiences. God bless "Mrs. Davis."

I was shocked to learn of Mrs. Davis's passing. I have fond memories of her teaching me to sing and directing plays. She also was at my bridal shower and came to my wedding. I know she will be missed dearly. She was quite a wonderful, unique and interesting woman. She lived life not letting the changes slow her down. My prayers go out to her children and especially Jim as he was ahead of my in school by three years. We were in a couple of plays together. God bless. Holly (Wintrode) McCoin

Mrs. Davis was my high school choral teacher from 1972-1976. She nurtured my love of vocal music, something that still gives me pleasure today. I remember many bus trips to regional and state contests, many rehearsals for Swing Choir and Madrigals and many performances. Her energy never flagged and she was always encouraging. I know she'll be missed by many.

What a shock, knew she was sick but not how serious. We will miss her. She and Sam had some very important impacts in our life. Could not ask for better neighbors. Have very happy memories of your whole family. Bet she is helping to lead another choir now. Love and prayers to all of you. Gracie & Tom

Was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I think I ran into your mother during a visit to North Manchester a couple of years ago visiting my late father Roy Taylor and it was so good to see her. Esther (Taylor) Hassing. Phoenix, AZ.
