SOUTH BEND - Julie Ann Mancuso, 58, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center with her loving family by her side.

Julie was born April 12, 1959 in South Bend, IN, to the late Irvin and Geraldine (Jaronik) Swartz. Julie was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael J. Swartz.

On April 23, 1988, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Julie married the love of her life, Tony Mancuso. Julie was a graduate of the class of 1977 from LaSalle High School. She worked as an administrative assistant for St. Joseph County Government. Julie loved to vacation and camp with family and her many friends. She loved Notre Dame Football weekends, going to wineries, but most precious of all was time spent with her husband and family.

So sad when I read of her death. We hung out together in the 1980s when we worked at the Health Dept. She was a really good person who loved the Lord. Rest in Peace, Julie.

Julie was an amazing woman who never frowned. She always had a smile on her face that would take over a frown on everyone else's...it was definitely contagious. She will be missed by all who had the good fortune of having their paths cross with hers. My heart hurts for Tony, her family and her friends...whose lives will never be the same.
