Lee MacEachern Obituary
Lee MacEachern, 70, died peacefully on Jan. 11, 2019, while surrounded by her family. Lee was the loving daughter of the late Herbert and Grace (Gummow) Rainey and grew up in Bridgewater. She was a graduate of Bridgewater High School, Class of 1966, and raised her loving boys in Bridgewater. She was a devoted homemaker and she also worked for over 30 years for the State of Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. She always had a special place in her heart for the cool water off Brant Rock and spending time at the family cottage. She had no qualms about "popping in" four times a week to check on her grandkids and to maybe have a meal. She was totally devoted to her grandchildren and never liked missing anything. She was funny, kind, and will be missed by all who knew her. Lee was the loving mom of Joseph P. MacEachern and his wife Jennifer of Taunton and Mark C. MacEachern and his wife Jennifer of Bridgewater; proud "Grammy" of Travis, Kennedy, Ryan, Zach, and Jake; loving sister of William Rainey of Bridgewater, Ruth Benoit and her husband Louis of Ga., Paula Morton and her husband Geoffrey of Bridgewater, Philip Rainey and his wife Eileen of Brockton, and also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. All are cordially invited to the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater, on Wednesday, Jan. 16, for a visitation period from 3-6 p.m. A funeral service will begin 6 p.m. Donations in Lee's memory may be sent to Pulmonary Hypertension Association, 801 Roeder Road, Ste. 1000, Silver Spring, MD 20910 or visit phassociation.org/donate.
