Robert Clasby Obituary

CLASBY Robert J., 76, of Whitman, Wednesday, Oct. 25, husband of 50 years to Marie (Cusick) Clasby of Brockton, formerly of Whitman; father of Robert J. Clasby Jr. and his wife Ramona of Cohoes, N.Y., and Ann Marrese and her husband Ted of Brockton; brother of Donald Clasby of Florida, William and James Clasby, both of Holbrook, Peter Clasby of Whitman, Marie Iacoviello of Melrose, Patricia Ford of Holbrook and Barbara MacNeil of Whitman; beloved grandfather of Sean and Bryan Galligan and step-grandfather of Gena Marrese, all of Brockton; also many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Francis and John Clasby. His funeral will be held from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle), Whitman, Monday, Oct. 30, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30 p.m. Visiting hours Sunday, Oct. 29, 4-7 p.m. Donations may be made in his name to the Western Mass Hospital (North III), 91 East Mountain Road, Westfield, MA 01085. www.blanchardfc.com.

Sadly, I just heard and I am very sorry about Uncle Bobby's passing. I have many great family memories as a kid especially at the cottage in Buzzards Bay.
