Not sure what to say?

On 3-18-2006 We had dinner with Spencer, Rick Derringer, Mitch Ryder ,Felix Cavalier, Barry & Bobbie George after the concert in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan we all ate steak and wine that night.
Spencer asked me to help him get a flight back to Wales as he was not familiar with the area.
We got him a flight out that night. He was a great guy I had reminded him his foot peddle was still on stage and he ran back to get it during the meal.
My band played all of his songs since...

I’m sorry for his passing my son Steve was a big fan

I knew Spencer at Birmingham University in the early 60s. The students had Saturday night hops and Spencer would often play his guitar during intervals. He was l lovely man and I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

May God bless your family.

Loved his music very sad he is gone

I was just wondering how Spencer was doing, last week- & then heard he had passed. I did know he wasn't well- Hadn't spoken with him in quite awhile, and the last time I'd called, his daughter said he was "resting"- So. When I lived in L.A., we used to go out to lunch ("Do Lunch"-!) at the House of Blues, off of Sunset. I will always Miss him...

I like many others were absolutely stunned to hear of his passing because "Keep on running" was like an anthem to us back in the day, reading various obituaries of Spencer he may not have been daily in our sight but the proof of his prowess as a professional shows in the list of other professionals that he played with in his coming years, it shows respect to someone that deserved it. I am not far behind him in years and this brings to mind that l too am in the winter of my life.

My condolences to the family. May the God of Comfort, continue to comfort the family, during these difficult times.

Heartfelt condolences to the Davis family, May God comfort and strengthen all of you at this very difficult time.
