Hugh was my professor, mentor and friend. I took every course he taught at FPlC, without exception. We shared our love for the newly introduced Apple Macintosh computer and were comrades in the Mac v PC feud that spanned my 3 years in law school. We worked on many individual projects together involving the development of tort analysis programs for the Mac. He was a brilliant and very wise man who taught us by example, that every human being is worthy of respect. I will miss you, Hugh. The Rev. Lisa Schoonmaker, Esq.

Hugh was one of the great friends I had while working alongside him at Franklin Pierce Law Center. My wife and I visited with him and his wife on the cape as well as spending a couple weeks on their boat in Key West. He was such a fun person to be with, great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable about so many different subjects! I'll miss him greatly.

Hugh was one of a kind - a great teacher, a strong mentor, and a good friend. His presence at Franks made an impact on too many students to mention.
