John C. Jack OConnor, age 80, of Weymouth died Friday Oct. 8, 2010 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Jack was a Campus Police Officer and Post Master at Lasell College in Auburndale, MA for 40 years. He retired as Post Master in 2007. He graduated from Bentley School of Accounting. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. Beloved husband of Winifred R. (McDaid) OConnor. Devoted father of John F. OConnor of East Weymouth. Dear friend of Heidi and Brian Smith of Weymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, South Weymouth at 809 Main Street, (Rte 18 opp. South Shore Hosp.) Wednesday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow in Immaculate Conception Church, East Weymouth at 10 oclock. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4 | 8 p.m.. Relatives and friends invited.
