SPARTANBURG, SC-- Catherine Morrow Edwards, 90, of Spartanburg died on August 6, 2006, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Landrum, SC, she was the daughter of the late Isom and Olive Harrison Morrow and wife of the late John Dean Edwards. She was a wonderful Christian mother and friend.She was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg (New Pisgah) for almost 70 years where she was a former Sunday School Teacher, GA Teacher, Bible School teacher, WMU leader, YWA leader, Training Union teacher, and a former member of the choir. She was a volunteer at the church for numerous other activities. She was a member of the Eastern Star and volunteered for the Gray Lady at Spartanburg Regional. She retired from Raycord Manufacturing after 42 years. After retirement, she worked at One Price Clothing.She is survived by four daughters, June E. Bullington, Cherrie E. Crocker and Joye E. G. Alexander all of Spartanburg, and Kaye E. Shetley and son in law Donald of Greenville; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Bokanoski and Juanita Alverson both of Spartanburg; and a brother, Harold Morrow of Landrum.She was predeceased by two granddaughters, Jennifer Ballard and Catherine Bullington both of Spartanburg and two brothers, Loran and Garrison Morrow.The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday at First Baptist North Spartanburg. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the church conducted by Rev. Terry Lanford and Rev. Monty King. Burial will be in the church cemetery.Memorials may be made to First Baptist North Spartanburg, 8740 Asheville Hwy, Spartanburg, SC 29316 or to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund, 842 Mt.
