BOILING SPRINGS, SC- Mr. Ken Williams, age 65 of Boiling Springs, went home to be with our Lord on Monday, June 11, 2018 following an extended illness.
Ken was born on September 1, 1952 in Spartanburg County to the late Clyde Earl and Alice Huskey Williams. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Judy Williams Stroud and Stanley Stroud. He was a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church and had been a painting contractor for most of his life.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Joy Williams; daughter, Jennifer Stepp (Kelly); brother, David Williams (Anita); sister, Jessie Crain (David); nephews, Jordan Williams (Casey), Craig Williams (Stacie), and Scott Crain (Kelly); and niece, Vicki Crain Williams (Andy.)
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Boiling Springs First Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be conducted at 3:00pm at the church with Dr. Hank Williams and Rev. James Spencer to officiate. Pallbearers will be: Jordan Williams, Craig Williams, Terry Howell, Whitney Farr, Richard Farr, and Steve Howell. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Cornerstone Sunday School Class.
Memorial contributions may be made to Carolina Pregnancy Center, 103 Metro Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303; Hope Remains, 1771 John Dodd Road, Wellford, SC 29385; or to Boiling Springs First Baptist Church, 3600 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 204 Harvest Lane, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
