Linda Carol Cox, 64, of Wilsonville, died on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. Born in Bardstown, she grew up in Bloomfield. A Spencer County resident for many years, she was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a former deputy Spencer County Circuit Court Clerk, and deputy Spencer County Clerk. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Ray Woford.

Her survivors include her husband, Vincent Cox of Wilsonville; daughter, Kristina Lyon and her husband, Tom, of North Port, Florida; mother, Betty Woford of Bloomfield; brothers, Albert Woford and his wife, Monica, of Fairfield, and David Woford and his wife, Lisa, of Bloomfield; and four grandchildren, Nealee Lyon, Karlee Lyon, Tanner Lyon, and Daniel Lyon.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m., on Monday, October 8, 2018, at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, with Reverend Greg Taylor and Reverend Greg Knapper officiating. Interment was in Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington.

Visitation was from noon until 8 p.m., Sunday, October 7, 2018, at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Taylorsville.
