It was a pleasure knowing Ms. Peggy these past couple of years! We enjoyed worshiping with her on Sundays and conversations over lunch afterward. She always made us laugh and shared interesting stories about her time in the field. As Paul Jr. stated, she truly is a special woman. We are sad she is no longer with us, but so happy for her knowing she is with Jesus and Paul and no longer in pain. She inspired us to serve our Savior and live life to the fullest. Praying for your family through this difficult time. She loved you all and spoke of you often!

So sorry about the passing of Peggy. My life has been enriched for having known Paul and Peggy. They were serving the First Baptist Church in Taylorsville, Kentucky, when they were called to the Mission Field. If I remember correctly when they came to our church there was only 3 little ones. but Marieda came along while they were with us. So many fond memories of such devoted Christians. We visited them when they first came back from Mission field. Paul made m,e a stool and I need it now to climb up on,

Dear Grossman family, As we sit across the world remembering Mrs. Peggy, we are brimming with gratitude to the Lord for crossing our paths. During our time in Owensboro, Mr. Paul and Mrs. Peggy saw fit to love us well. They taught us with their ongoing zeal for the lost. They inspired us by a deep love for the Lord. They encouraged us by showing us genuine love for each other, their family, and others. We are also thankful we were able to meet you all, and we loved hearing stories and seeing pictures of your sweet families. They were certainly proud of each of you! We are praying for you all in these days and wanted to let you know how blessed we have been by them. To God be the glory, great things He has done...and will do!

To Ken, Paula, Paul, Jr., Marieda, all your families members, relatives, & all who knew & loved Peggy Grossman: Words cannot express all the feelings I have as I pen this message of condolences, memories of many years, love, & prayers! There are so many memories I would like to mention as I think back as I was growing up in Taylorsville, KY where Rev. Paul & Peggy Grossman pastored our church, FBC, Taylorsville, Ky. Being saved, baptized, raised in the church, I was involved in its many facets of missions, Sunday School, Youth Training, & all. I must say that Mother really impressed us with the importance of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all ways, especially in the mission organizations as GAs, & WMU. No better Christian mentors were there than "Bro. Paul & Peggy", "our missionaries" who became our exposure to how important it all was as they showed us by personal example - by going to Africa. What was so outstanding was that as they missionaried there, faithful letters coming of the details & work there brought us closer to understanding it all! What sacrifices they experienced! They lived what Jesus preached for us all to do! I must say that I've never witnessed such a "lifewalk" with God as they both had! They both had a long & busy Servant Life, I would say. From having the privilege of growing up under their Christian tutledge to following their Journey to sharing their 50th wedding Anniversary to sharing when they came to our geographical area to preaching Dad & Mother's (Carl & Roberta Bennett) funerals at Taylorsville, my whole life of 68 years have been affected by their witness. I call Nursing my life Ministry.I 'm been active at Walnut Street Baptist Church, Louisville, Ky. & pray that Jesus will tell me as I am SURE He has said to Bro. Paul & Peggy - "Well done, thy good & faithful Servant!" I will be praying for you all. I regret that I cannot be there in person. I will be there in spirit. Marieda, and all the children, grandchildren, and great-grands of Peggy and Paul - We are so sorry to hear of Peggy's death. She lived a full, active life, and I'm sure a rewarding one. Our introduction to you Grossman's came in 1967 when you were in Liberia. Throughout the years our paths crossed on numerous occasions .
Please know that we are with you in thoughts and prayers. Our prayer is that God will give you a peace and presence in Peggy's absence. Hold on to each other and your memories, they will bring you comfort.

We were so sorry to hear of the Home Going to Peggy Grossman. She had been a true friend.
We were so blessed to be able to visit with her
a while back. She blessed us by having lunch for us and sharing many stories with us. She was such a joy. It will be so great to be able to visit with her and Paul again one day in Heaven.

Those who sacrifice their time and comfort to teach the word of God have a special place in my heart, and are my hero's. I know the Lord feels the same, and much more so. Although I did not know her well, she put a light in my heart for the work she and her husband did in the work of the gospel and the Lord. Her life will be full of Joy now..

I met Mary Chamberlain in early part of 1961 and worked for her at Sears and she became my role model for life showing me Christ every day and spoke of Peggy and Paul all the time and the walk with the Lord which so touched my life I am now 73 and spoke to Peggy after the death of my dear friend Mary and cannot express in words what this family means to me and my life. It has enriched me to have a closer walk with the Lord and by their examples I now depend on the Lord, May God bless you all and know I loved them dearly and love you and miss them

So sorry to learn of the passing of your precious Mom. I cherish the memories that I hold of both your parents and the ones I made when I finally got to see all of you when your Daddy died. I pray you feel God's presence as you walk through this dark valley. Know I loved them both dearly and considered them to be my other Mom and Daddy.
