Eric FIETEK Obituary

FIETEK, Eric D.
(Age 53)

Eric died peacefully with family by his side on October 29, 2017 after a hard fight with cancer. Eric was born on August 13, 1964 in Rantoul, Illinois to Marion and Michael Fietek.
Eric began school in Germany as part of a military family and later graduated from Cheney High School and Spokane Falls Community College. Eric worked as a bartender and manager at Dempsey's Brass Rail in Spokane for several years. He enjoyed gardening, antiques, and walks with his beloved dog Cutter.
Eric is survived by his parents, Marion and Michael, brothers, Steve (Sonia) of Tucson, AZ, Tim (Shelly) of Spokane, five nieces and nephews and his special Aunt Evie.
We thank his friend Matt Garcia and Hospice of Spokane for the fine care they gave Eric. An open house in memory of Eric will be held at his home on November 11th from 1:00PM-4:00PM. Memorial contributions may be made in Eric's name to the Wishing Star Foundation, 130 S. Sherman, Spokane, WA 99202.
Eric was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
