Austin Tyler Wink, 9 month old son of Ed and Shauna (Wiley) Wink, was born October 27th, 2010 at Spokane, Washington. He died Friday, August 5th, 2011 at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.
Austin was a little man with a big heart. In life he wanted nothing more than to make others smile and laugh. Whether family, friend or stranger, he would ensure to leave you with a smile on your face. Through various medical appointments and hospitaliza-tions he continued to touch everyone's hearts. Austin was such a brave little man and will always be a part of so very many people.

Austin preceded his parents, Shauna (Wiley) Wink and Edward L. Wink of Spokane, WA; sister, LeahLynn Cates-Wink of Merlin, OR; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Suzanne Wiley of Terrebonne, OR; paternal grandparents, Toni and Brad Emerson of Irrigon, OR; paternal grandparents, Edward and Annette Wink of Kennewick, WA; maternal great-grandmother, Etta Mae Varns of Omaha, NE; paternal great-grandmother, Letha Wink of Kennewick, WA; numerous other family members that will miss him.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 12th, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston. Burial will follow at the Hermiston Cemetery.

It is asked that any donations made in Austin's behalf are made to the Mitochondrial Research Guild at Seattle Children's Hospital, please send to Mitochondrial Research Guild, P.O. Box 761, Lynnwood, WA 98046.

We did not get to see you the last time we were there. You were still in Mommy's belly. But what a loved baby you were. I wish we could be there for your Mom and Dad now. Watch over your family now with Jesus's help. You are now in his loving arms. And you will be so missed brave little man.
